The Nascimento label was created in 2002 by Milton Nascimento, to produce several projects.

It was at Nascimento that Milton produced in that same year the Tambores de Minas and the A Sede do Peixe dvds, as well as the Trilhas de Ballet double CD, which had the original recordings of Maria, Maria e o Ultimo Trem composed excusively for the Grupo Corpo in 1976 and 1980 each. Those recording hadn't been available for buying untill then.

In November 2006, Nascimento launched the Pietá DVD, recorded during a show at the Palacio das Artes de Belo Horizonte. Aside from the show, the DVD also brought video clips and the European Pietá tour making of.

Nascimento Music launched in 2007 the "mineira" singer Marina Machado's CD, produced by Milton Nascimento.
